Our Story

Born in Melbourne, Australia in 2012 thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, we’ve rapidly grown into a global sensation, trusted by brand enthusiasts who choose us first and eagerly share their experiences with their friends. With mounts for cycling, motorcycling, driving, aviation, and various lifestyle options, Quad Lock has shipped millions of products to over 100 countries.

Our story started with wanting to explore the world. Well, at least some of it. With Australia as their backyard, Quad Lock founders Chris and Rob rode bikes on empty roads, explored mountains on foot, and deserts in the car. But they didn't have total confidence taking their phones out there. So, they did something about it.

A few years after the release of the first iPhone, Quad Lock was born. And a Kickstarter campaign in 2011 launched a premium iPhone mount – loved by cyclists worldwide. The range has since expanded to other pursuits, with enthusiasts all over exploring more with their phones securely in sight.

Life at Quad Lock

I joined Quad Lock eight years ago with the desire to work for a company that designed and manufactured its own products. Quad Lock not only fulfilled that aspiration but also exposed me to a comprehensive view of the entire business ecosystem, which created a gratifying, self-contained feedback loop that was entirely new to me as a designer. STAGE 1
Chat with our Talent Team

Your first interview with Quad Lock will be a phone call with our Talent Partner.

This conversation is an opportunity for you to learn more about our company culture, the role, and the team you'll be joining. We'll also take this time to learn about you, including your background, motivations, and experience to see if there's a strong alignment. During the call, we’ll outline the next steps in our recruitment process and ask a range of questions to better understand your fit for the role.

STAGE 2
Hiring Manager Interview

In this interview, typically conducted via Zoom, we’ll explore your behavioural and technical skills to better understand your suitability for the role.

It’s also a great opportunity for you to gain insights into the role’s specific requirements, ask questions, and connect with your potential future manager to get a sense of our collaborative work environment.

STAGE 3
Key Stakeholder Interview

In this stage, you'll typically meet in person at our office to engage with key stakeholders relevant to the role. It's an opportunity to showcase your work, present a case study, or dive deeper into your key experiences and skills, demonstrating how your expertise aligns with the position and how you can contribute to the team’s success. For certain roles, we may also ask you to showcase your practical skills through a task, whether completed at home, in person, or through another format. We'll work with you to choose the option that best suits your style and preferences, as we aim to see you perform at your best.

STAGE 4
Final Interview

Finally, there might be one last step – a casual call or coffee catch-up with one of our senior leaders. This conversation serves as an opportunity for both sides to revisit any points that require further clarification.
